Welcome to the 33th European Senators Golf Championship 2024

August 29 - September 1, 2024 : A Historical Weekend

The European JCI Senators Golf Club would like to announce the 33th European Senators Golf Championship in Mont Garni, Belgium. We would like to invite all dedicated golfers, Senators and past Jaycee members with their charming company to the 34th European Senator Golf Championship.  It is our prime intention to make this Competition an unforgettable event for all of us and simultaneously we would like to keep the flame and spirit of our founder Senator Roger van der Schueren alive. His dream was to bring Senators from around the world to play Golf on his private estate in a true Jaycee Spirit and enjoy the fair play and dedicated sportsmanship. His son Eric has kept his father’s dream alive by blocking Mont Garni for the weekend especially for European Senators and Jaycees to enjoy.

We are looking forward to welcoming you in good spirit and enjoying to renew old friendship as well as welcoming new Senators to this outstanding golf event.

We have setup a fantastic program to encourage Golfers from Europe and the World to participate in our 2 Day Competition. The Event starts Thursday Night with a special evening at the Waterloo Memorial Site. For Thursday night we recommend the Hotel van der Valk in Waterloo. Friday we start with a 1 day Scramble followed by a Putting and Chipping Competition and 2nd day Stableford championship competition. We will once again have our original FOOD TRUCK for the 9th Hole refreshments.  Dinner and Opening Ceremony will be at our Home Club, Mont Garni, on Friday and on Saturday we will have a program and dinner at the Grand Hornu historical site. Supporters and Sponsors are warmly Welcome.
For Friday and Saturday night we recommend the Mah Hotel in Saint Ghislain. This relatively new Hotel offered us a better rate and is closer to the Golf Club and Grand Hornu. Therefor we will use it in 2024 as Headquarter.  If you prefer  the Hotel van der Valk in Mons feel free to stay there.
The competition is in accordance with the guidelines of the European Senate and we are grateful for their support.
